In this session, Dr. Jeevan will be sharing about NASA's experience as a RSA Archer customer. NASA has been using RSA Archer for continuous monitoring and RSA SecurID installed in their environment to safeguard critical applications. He will share the lessons he has learned in helping this iconic American government organisation work successfully with risk. In his 30-year career with NASA, he laid the foundation to transfer astronauts into predominantly unexplored territory, to support them there no matter what they might encounter along the way and to then bring them back safely to earth. An understanding of how to assist NASA to navigate unknown territory has become almost second nature for Dr Perera.

Dr. Jeevan Perera is a Senior Engineer at NASA, Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. He is currently working on advanced countermeasure systems to mitigate human health risks for future exploration missions. He has been the risk manager for several key manned space programs including the International Space Station, Orion Spacecraft and others. Orion is NASA's new manned spacecraft to begin to further explore our solar system.
Dr Perera has been with NASA for almost 30 years and has both a Jurisprudence Doctorate (law) and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering.
